Meet Sundyne in October at two of the Hydrogen Industries’ Premier Events

Today, as every industry seeks to lower its carbon footprint, the interest in using Hydrogen for power generation, transportation and other applications continues to increase. Hydrogen is a versatile energy carrier, and it can be stored for extended periods of time, which makes it a valuable complement to other renewable sources in the electricity system.

Hydrogen can be produced in different ways - yet today – almost 93% of all Hydrogen produced comes from “Grey” steam reforming (of natural gas or coal), or “Blue” production, if the resulting CO2 emissions are captured and stored (CCS).

Sundyne’s compressors play a key role in the production, transportation, and distribution of Hydrogen (and CCS). PPI diaphragm compressors are specifically designed to compress H2 from low pressure levels (such as electrolyser outlet pressure) up to the 350 or 700 bar levels that are required by today’s vehicles that run on Hydrogen.

The Centrifugal Integrally-Geared Compressors in the LMC/BMC/LF-2000 series are engineered to optimize the efficiency of hydrogen compression. For decades, Sundyne has gained expertise when it comes to sealing & handling Hydrogen in refineries and petrochemical plants, for a wide variety of applications including injection, scrubbing, dehydration, regeneration and H2S removal. Each Sundyne compressor is custom-built to provide pulsation – and vibration-free operation, and to deliver oil-free process gas with zero emissions.

Over the next few weeks, Sundyne will showcase its Hydrogen compressors at two industry events:

Hydrogen-Next
Oct 3-6, in Denver Colorado

Hydrogen Technology Expo

Oct 19-20, in Bremen, Germany
