Attendees at TPS in the post COVID years leaned heavily towards end-user needs, as the need to improve process efficiencies was paramount. The 2023 edition of the TPS seemed to reflect more of a shift to what we’ve seen in past years, with a majority of attendees from various EPC (Engineering Procurement & Construction) companies actively working on longer range projects and technology advancements.
This is a positive sign for Sundyne’s business in the 2-5 year timeframe, as these projects go through the FEED (Front End Engineering Design) stages and on to quoting projects. A significant amount of these projects seemed to concentrate on LNG, Petrochemical and CCUS (Carbon Capture, Utilization and Storage) in support of a wide range of industries, including the Energy sector.
Interest in the Sundyne Compressor line for LNG and the PPI Diaphragm Compressor line for Hydrogen was high. Sundyne personnel participating as group leader and active participants within the API 685 Discussion Group led directly to significant opportunities emerging for HMD products in Hydrofluoric Alkylation applications.
Once again, the TPS event has proven to be a valuable channel to showcase Sundyne products and to promote Sundyne’s leadership as one of the top pump and compressor manufacturers in the world.
