Next month, Sundyne sponsors two European events that support Sundyne’s refining and chemical processing interests.
On May 6-8, Sundyne will sponsor the Sustainable Aviation Futures Congress, in Beurs van Belage Amsterdam, Netherlands.
This event will promote collaboration amongst industry stakeholders, refiners, licensors, EPCs and equipment manufacturers. It will delve deeply into the topics that impact global regulation for the SAF market. The conference will discuss investment scenarios for SAF projects. It will also provide updates on European projects that are heading to FID by the end 2025, which are expected to create opportunities for the entire SAF value chain.
At the conference, Sundyne’s Renewable Fuels and Clean Energy manager, Nick Turner, will participate in a session discussing emerging technologies to improve efficiencies for SAF projects. Throughout the event, the Sundyne team will discuss the role that pumps & compressors play in the various SAF production pathways. Sundyne will share how lessons learned from 75 years of experience in traditional refining can be applied to more than 65 active SAF projects with key Sundyne customers. And the team onsite will illustrate Sundyne’s approach to meeting the needs of technology licensors, EPCs, and SAF producers.

On May 21-22, Sundyne’s HMD team heads to Birmingham for CHEM UK, which is the UK’s largest event supporting the Chemical Processing & Formulated Product Industries. Sundyne will participate with its channel partner, Kinder-Janes in Stand F40.
At Chem UK, HMD will showcase how it’s Sealless Magnetic Drive pumps are used in a wide range of chemical processing applications.
HMD invented and patented sealless magnetic drive pump technology in the 1940s. During the last 7+ decades, tens of thousands of HMD sealless magnetic drive pumps have been deployed in a wide range of chemical and industrial applications.
HMD will also demonstrate its secondary control and containment options for the CSA/CSI and other HMD pumps. HMD was one of the first sealless magnetic drive pump manufacturers to offer secondary containment and secondary control options to protect against a breach of primary containment and assure complete safety and emissions control. HMD’s secondary control solutions provide an intermediate level of protection. Any leakage through the primary shell is restricted, and secondary containment provides the highest level of security and safety, by ensuring that any leakage is fully contained within the confines of the pump. HMD’s independent secondary sealing solutions ensure separation of failure modes between primary and secondary systems without compromising compliance with industry standards. For the CSA/CSI product range, secondary control and containment are available in both space-saving close-coupled and long-coupled configurations.
In addition to HMD’s metallic sealless magnetic drive pumps, Sundyne will also showcase its ANSIMAG ETFE-lined Sealless Magnetic Drive pumps at the show. Since 1985, more than 50,000 ANSIMAG pumps have been deployed around the globe in a wide range of chemical applications. ANSIMAG’s superior chemical compatibility, cost efficiency, and low maintenance (close coupled) design make it an impressive complement to HMD’s line of sealless magnetic drive pumps.
